Nellie Cook died at 9.27 am on Wednesday 16th September 2009 after 107 years on this earth. She was
much loved mother,grandmother and greatgrandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Missing Nellie
Through the dark and through the night,
with pallor on your cheeks,
you left this mortal coil.
Those around you felt alone ,cold and weary too.
They wanted to catch hold of you and say, "yet stay awhile".
But you were gone, and yet where? It is unknown. You'll be missed by all, an empty void, a hole.
Where are you now and what can you see? We can but pray you are surrounded, with the love that you have given and the people whom you have known.
And perhaps, just maybe, when we reach the other side , You'll be there, and smiling once more.
And we will be so glad to see you again.
